250 M Street at Canal Park

This project was a full interior fit-out of 186,000 square feet of offices. The work began before the final completion of the core and shell building. The construction schedule was only 6 months for all 9 floors. Light fixtures included 2×2 grid and custom linear that needed to be ordered, approved, manufactured, shipped and installed with very tight deadlines. All lighting fixtures and 50 percent of all receptacles were required to be controlled by occupancy sensors, and relays for energy management. The modular furniture partitions were fed by 173 poke-thru floor boxes from the floor below.
